I’m re-posting this for those who are still interested in the differences between Marxists, Postmodernists and extreme Identity Politics people. I would strongly recommend Professor Roderick’s Youtube videos on Derrida and Foucault to those who want to consider the opposing view. There is a difference between someone who wants to explore the nature of truth and someone who is mainly interested in furthering their career in academia via “radical chic.” It’s the people in the latter category who cause most of the problems, not the people in the former IMHO.
